The Growth Faculty
The Growth Faculty is a business education and events company, formally known as Business Connect. CEO, Karen Beattie saw the need to re-name the group. Thursday Design were engaged to develop a new identity that is both confident and dynamic; reflecting the quality and strength of The Growth Faculty’s international list of speakers and educators. Thursday Design continue to work with The Growth Faculty on branded events.

John Barbour
Renowned conceptual art gallery, yuill|crowley invited Thursday Design to design a book on Australian artist John Barbour. Edited by Ewen McDonald, the book titled Hard/Soft includes a chronology of Barbour’s career beginning with the work; ‘immuredinpace’, (1988) through to his recent exhibition held this year. The cover features a circular die-cut, inspired by a major work displaying the words ‘No More Holes’. Hard/Soft can be purchased from leading gallery bookshops or directly from the yuill|crowley gallery in Sydney.

Tafeda
After winning a five-way pitch to re-brand paper embossing firm Tafeda, we developed an identity that clearly reflects the family owned company’s core business; embossing. A media kit was designed to provide clients with a greater understanding of their product selection.

Amy Verrall Communications
Sydney based PR company Amy Verrall Communications briefed Thursday Design to develop a new identity that would communicate Amy’s passionate and dedicated approach to working with her clients. The solution conveys her personality while sitting comfortably within the luxury market sector.

Molton Brown
Thursday Design helped Molton Brown launch their seductive new range named, Paradisiac Pink Pepperpod in Australia. Posters and hand made invitations, using important pink coloured stock were designed for the exclusive launch at Grandflora in Sydney. The event was attended by a select guest list.

Salvatore Ferragamo
Thursday Design collaborated with Salvatore Ferragamo to promote the opening of their flagship store at the new Westfield Sydney development. We designed and produced tactile invitations using a black foil and special uncoated stocks laminated together.

1300 Home Loan
Thursday Design have collaborated with boutique agency DCB Advertising and Communications, to help launch 1300 Home Loan; Australia’s first broker-owned home loan brand. The strategic brief required a robust identity that reflected the group’s aspirations; to become the most recognised home loan brand in Australia.

Liverpool Street Gallery
Liverpool Street Gallery asked Thursday Design to produce a catalogue and invitation for contemporary artist Aida Tomescu’s Sydney and Melbourne exhibitions. The design uses modernist typography to compliment the abstract brush strokes of Aida‘s work.

St Hilliers
Leading Australian property and construction group, St Hilliers approached Thursday Design to create an engaging and memorable tender proposal for the redevelopment of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney.

One of Australia and New Zealand’s largest mid-tier accountancy firms, William Buck understood the need to revitalise their brand after recent expansion. The new identity observes their proud heritage and modern approach to accounting and business advisory.

't' is for thyme
One of our longest standing clients, Digitalpress commissioned us to produce a limited edition typographic poster, communicating a benefit of working with Australia’s leading digital printer. We created the poster using the herb ‘thyme’ to form the letter ‘t’. The concept of ‘thyme’ refers to the ‘time’ Digitalpress commit to their clients.

Tragic Beauty
Michael Hall is an award-winning photographer. He was voted European Photographer of the Year by the Federation of European Photographers in 2006 and was a Hasselblad Masters Finalist in 2009. Following a near-fatal cycling accident in 2007, Michael decided to re-evaluate his work, and embarked on an ambitious personal project: to document the causes and effects of climate change across the world. This is his first limited edition book.

Australian Photography and Gallery Compendium
Renowned art curator Mary Meyer approached Thursday Design to name and design a photographic book displaying the work of Australia's leading art photographers. The first stage of the project was to develop a submissions guide and website, inviting photographers to become part of the project.

2 Danks Street Galleries
A collective of eleven art galleries and award winning restaurant, 2 Danks Street commissioned a piece of literature to communicate their unique offering. The design was required to be regularly updated to promote seasonal events. A two colour dust jacket was employed to be easily modified, providing a cost effective solution.

Australasia’s premier membership organisation for professionals in the financial services industry needed a campaign to encourage students to become members while making them aware of the extensive benefits of joining Finsia.

Digitalpress
Having been invited to tender for a large project with a major financial institution, Digitalpress commissioned Thursday Design to create a bespoke proposal. Using a combination of tactile paper stocks and specialist print finishes, we produced a document that promotes Digitalpress as Australia’s leading digital printer.

NSK Oceania
Japanese engineering firm NSK specialise in high quality dental equipment. NSK required an advertising campaign to launch their LED handpieces. Working in collaboration with photographer Adrian Lander we created a series of press advertisements showcasing that lightbulbs are now redundant in the dental industry.

Charlie Chan
This project is a sampler CD released by composer Charlie Chan. The CD showcases Chan’s piano music, written for film, television, theatre and dance. Drawing inspiration from 19th Century Pianola rolls (the first form of recorded music) we designed the packaging using only one colour, paying homage to the heritage of recorded music.
